From March of 2016 throughNovember of 2019 I was homeless, hopeless, and living under the Wells Street Bridge. I started using drugs at the age of 13. I was an IV drug user for 7 years all together. And I was homeless for 9 years.

While I was homeless , I meet Donnie Foster and his group, the MISFITS. They would come to the Rescue Mission and feed the homeless community, and they would also share Gods Word to us. They took time out of their busy life to come fellowship with people that the rest of the world had given up on. The rest of the world just sees a junkie... but Donnie and the MISFITS didn't see that. They see what God sees... they see HOPE.

On March 25, 2020 I gave my life to God

On May 22, 2020 I was baptized

On September 5, 2021 I joined Community Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia.

As of today I am 401 day's clean and haven't used tobacco in 6 months.
I thank God everyday for everything HE has help me overcome. But, I also personally thank Donnie Foster, the MISFITS and The Rescue Mission in fort Wayne Indiana for planting the seed. I thank them for showing me God.
Because of the seed that Donnie and the MISFITS planted in me, I was under the bridge and decided to cry out to God to take me out of the lifestyle I was living. Then a pastor from the Rescue Mission helped get me into a discipleship program for drug addicts and alcoholics.
